The centuries have taken their toll on the once great Eleria. It is the 7th Age of Eleria; the races of Eleria have isolated themselves due to the tension between them. Secrets have been forgotten and things that were once great are now lost or buried. Now, the possibility of war approaches......

As the youngest race to reach Eleria the gifted have not developed the long lives of the elves or fae and thus do not guard themselves against anger and violence as the other races do; for to them life is short and therefore if there is an issue to be resolved they seek the quickest answer which most often is a fight. Since they may practice any type of magic the gifted have a large and scattered collection of magic schools, some are as grand as palaces while other only offer the bare essentials. The gifted have embedded themselves in eleria however and are perhaps the largest population though not the most skilled. There tolerance for other races varies from person to person and there are few things that they share as a people. They are good farmers and fine merchants and much of this can be seen in the country side or there larger town that always seem to be bustling with activity. The gifted also have the highest and sometimes it seem the only amount of black marketeers and smugglers; however whether this is good or bad depends on what you are doing and who it is for. The politics of the gifted are as fickled as the rest of there society; the have several royal lines all in bid for the throne at one time or another tho there are some honesty people that may be trusted you should always treat the gifted nobles with a certain air of caution.

hmm needs some more work......not sure how. The gifted will be tricky because they would have been influenced by the societies around them but not greatly. So their culture will have noble aspects built into what they themselves have created.

Maybe we shouldn't make the Gifted this unified; instead of having multiple bloodlines seeking the same throne, they would each control only a portion of the total land and population. Each one of those sections would have their own culture and structure, so should be given separate descriptions. I can't think of any other way to have a very specific description since, like Zephoro pointed out, there would be far too much variety. Just my thought; it seems logical to me but it might not work as well as I expect.

The gifted are varied like humanity yet we have a government based on a varied people. The Union is possible, but tricky to create without experience to build upon. When I say experience, I speak of the lack of gifted characters and the way in which they are conveyed
